I just wanted to share some amazing photographs from a 17 year old. She could definitely be included among the other amazing young talent I posted in designers, developers, and bloggers under 18. She is also my cousin so maybe I am biased but I think her work is awesome and I can’t wait to see where she’s at in 10 years. I think she has great composition and has a knack for capturing “the moment” in many of her photos. Feel free to check our her flickr.

David is actually one of my very good friends from college in NYC. We had tons of design classes together and were even in a band at one point. Not only is he a friend, but he’s honestly a very talented individual. I taught this kid everything he knows. Ok not really, but I did help teach him Illustrator and that makes me feel special He’s a seriously fast learner. I used to try to talk to him about web design and coding and he wasn’t too interested. Print was his passion, but just a few months ago he decided to spend more time getting into web design and learning code.

He learned CSS in about a week and built his site incredibly fast. I can say that I’m definitely impressed with his site because of his use of jquery and other elements. This from a guy who was just using tables two weeks before designing his new site :p

Aside from web design, he does killer illustrations and I think he has a unique style. The majority of the time his designs are full of bright colors which totally fit his crazy personality. He’s an all-around cool guy. He’s also a guy that is looking for work or freelance opportunities. If you like his work then let him know – info [at] demographicsonly [dot] com.

I finally have my site up after having my “coming soon” page up for over a year [check it out here]. I always find it hard to design for myself and this seems to be true for most designers that I talk to. I’ve redesigned my redesigns about a billion times before finally settling on this one. I fell in love with the color palette, which of course included hot pink. Those that know me know that I love hot pink. Maybe a little too much…

This will be a place to share my thoughts, latest work, and design inspiration with others. I will also provide some tutorials, freebies, and giveaways. I want to thank Adam Robertson for his wordpress mastery and Tony Chester, Troy Thompson, Brian Yerkes, and Andy Ewald for all of their help with coding issues. I also want to thank my good friend Sonny Gill for his creative inspiration and continual feedback. I realized this site was a lot more complicated than I originally thought it would be and I appreciate all the help everyone has given.
